How we earn the right to publish
This policy governs FlyingToast blog posts, comparisons, guides, and other educational pages. It explains who is responsible, how we use sources and AI assistance, and what happens when something needs correction.

Product claims match the product
Our publication checklist requires feature, workflow, and capability statements to be checked against the current FlyingToast product. We describe boundaries plainly and avoid presenting a workflow aid as a legal or regulatory guarantee.
Higher stakes, higher review bar
Our editorial process calls for legal, healthcare, financial, safety, and other high-impact topics to be held back when qualified review or adequate evidence is missing. Published educational content is not legal, medical, or financial advice.
Real updates, visible corrections
We change an article’s updated date only after a substantive revision. Material corrections are made promptly and explained in the article when the nature of the change would matter to a reader.
Authorship and responsibility
A named person appears as the author only when that person owns the argument or contributes relevant firsthand experience. Their profile should identify their real role and a verifiable public identity where available.
FlyingToast blog articles are currently assigned to founder Justin van Oel as the accountable author. His byline means he owns the final published article and its corrections; it does not mean AI tools were excluded from the research, drafting, editing, or image process.
Institutional material is published under FlyingToast. Current blog article bylines identify the person accountable for the final article and its corrections; a specialist reviewer is named only after that person has actually reviewed the relevant material.
How AI may assist
AI tools may help with research organization, outlining, drafting, editing, or image ideation. They are not listed as authors and they do not remove FlyingToast’s responsibility for what is published.
Before publication, claims should be checked against sources and current product behavior, unsupported specifics removed, links tested, and the page assessed for whether it gives a reader a useful answer instead of merely targeting a query.
Comparisons, endorsements and commercial interests
FlyingToast comparison pages are commercial content: FlyingToast benefits if a reader chooses our product. We aim to state where another product may be the better fit, date volatile facts, and link to the compared company’s current official material.
We do not publish fabricated reviews, invented customer outcomes, undisclosed insider endorsements, or AI-generated testimonials. We clearly and conspicuously disclose any material relationship relevant to an endorsement close to the endorsement itself.
Corrections and contact
If you find a factual error, outdated product detail, broken source, missing disclosure, or unclear limitation, contact FlyingToast with the page URL and supporting evidence.
We prioritize errors that could change a reader’s decision or create risk. Minor copy edits do not trigger a new updated date. Substantive changes do, and material corrections may include a dated note.
